Printmaking Workshops with Pardis
Printmaking is an ancient way of producing copies of art and text by hand in order to spread messages. Using block-printing techniques on soft lino, printmaking can be made accessible.
Whether it’s for a team bonding session or an art-build for social movements, Pardis aims to make art-marking accessible to all, allowing room for imagination and play to take place. She meets people where they are at and offers various approaches for teaching relief printmaking. Her goal is for participants to walk away with pride in their learning capacities and an eagerness to learn more, whatever skill that may be.
Over the past couple years, Pardis has facilitated printmaking workshops with organizations including Mayworks, Toronto Biennial of Art, C Magazine, Theatre Passe Muraille and more.

"At our workshops, Pardis brought an inspiring collection of books and print examples that helped first-time printmakers dive in with confidence. Her warm and approachable facilitation style made the experience truly enjoyable, and she was incredibly generous in sharing her knowledge, meeting each participant at their own skill level, and encouraging their learning goals. I would love to collaborate with Pardis again and highly recommend her workshop to both printmaking enthusiasts and anyone looking to explore a new creative skill."

"I had a really great time at Pardis’s linocut printmaking workshop in Café Pamenar’s backyard. Pardis is an exceptional instructor. She is patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She guided us step-by-step through the process and offered hands-on help with our individual projects. What made the workshop very special was the warm and welcoming environment Pardis created. It felt like spending time with a group of friends. I would definitely attend again and highly recommend it to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced."
